Professor Alan Roach

An academic chemist and past Dean of the then Faculty of Communications, Engineering & Science, Alan Roach is an Emeritus Professor of the University of the West of Scotland and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Glasgow University. He co-leads STEM-ED Scotland, a partnership of stakeholders seeking to champion world class education in Scotland across STEM subjects. He also helped to found the Centre for Engineering Education & Development (CeeD), a membership association of companies and academic institutions seeking to enhance business excellence in engineering.
