Michele joined The University of the West of Scotland in 1993 as a lecturer within the Quality Centre following two years at The University of Strathclyde and seven years in the shipbuilding industry.

As a graduate Mechanical Engineer, Michele worked in shipbuilding gaining valuable experience in the fields of Quality and Project Management.  Within her current role as Senior lecturer and Director of the Quality Centre, she is responsible for developing and managing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the subject areas of Quality and Project Management focussing on the needs of part-time and international markets.

Michele is involved with international institutions and conferences by way of organising, presenting papers and giving lectures in the field of Quality.

Michele lives in Ayrshire with her husband and twin boys and enjoys spending time with her family.
