Bruce Heil is project managing two SFC-funded skills utilisation projects for The Open University in Scotland.  He previously held posts in the college sector, latterly as Assistant Principal at Edinburgh’s Telford College, and in the regeneration sector as Project Coordinator on the PARC project in Craigmillar Edinburgh.

Bruce has over 25 years of experience in further education particularly at the industry- education interface.  He has also tutored for The Open University on a range of technology courses for a similar period of time.

Bruce gained most of his qualifications through part-time routes, initially as an engineering apprentice in college and later at both Strathclyde University and The Open University.
